Okay i am interested in buying a 2013 tacoma and i see lots of pics that the 2013 have the hoods with the hood scoop. And this 2013 tacoma i am interested in doesn't have a hood scoop just a regular hood. My question is is the hood the only different thing or its a different truck? has different features? and maybe different packages or what ever! Please let me know whats the difference between a 2013 tacoma that has a hood scoop and 2013 without one Thanks!!

As well as Thicker swaybar on the sport, linear coils on Sport and SR5,and progressive coils on the Off-Road, not to mention locker vs. Brake controlled LSD, bed length& cab options,......

possibly a locker for the rear, or LSD, possible rear power inverter........

    we need more info.

    diff seats

    diff tires

    diff rims

    diff suspension

again, need more details...............or ASK the owner/dealership if its a TRD offroad, TRD sport with a hood swap, or base model SR5

the scoop does nothing BTW..........it cannot even be made to function

it does hinder vision slightly when going up a steep angle, but that may be user dependent

There could be a lot of differences depending on what you're comparing. The only truck with the hood scoop is the TRD Sport Package.

TRD Off Road Package has no scoop
    Non-TRD has no scoop
