Last but not least, the fish that started it all: 3 goldfish that are the toughest fish I have ever owned. Won them tiny for my kids at the county fair. My biggest comet (chuck Norris, the one who can survive being dry on the carpet for hours overnight and live no problem) is 5" and 4 years old. Not the biggest fish, but the toughest from what I've seen.
In my fish tank, I had a crazy fish that jumped up one time and knocked the lamp thing into the tank and shocked all the fish to death. Literally, the two goldfish survived..wth?

Badass.

I think I'm allergic to mj in the couple times I tried it or was around it in my teens but I just don't see the problem. Oh well, politics I guess.

BUST them cartels though.. Kill and ask questions later. Some of my happiest memories are bowfishing with my father when I was a kid. AWESOME. We used to take sea scamps with trolling motors out in St. Paul in Kansas and bowhunt monster carp for fun. GREAT fun.

They are a joke in fishkeeping circles and feeder fish when they are babies, but common comet goldfish are tough enough to spend weekends in a Dixie cup in the sun at the fair (would kill any other fish for sure..)

and smart enough to be trained. Maybe not as cool as my other fish, but absolutely smart, tough, awesome little orange carp nonetheless.

Guns, bows, quads and welding I inherited from my dad. I'm still noticing a trend of awesomeness among tw members/Tacoma owners.

About to add another car to my collection. Shopping for a pre 80's fiat spider 124.

I used to be big into fish. Had 5 50 gallon tanks at one point.. Discus fish, oscars, eels, piranhas, and my fav. I had a snake head that grew to about 13 inches long... Meanest fish I ever saw.. Ate the piranhas. Fell out of the tank while I was at work.. Came home and he was dried up on the floor.. Put him back in the tank and he was totally fine.
We had an Oscar- Angry Bettos was her name. She was about a foot long when she died. She was kinda like a dog- I could stick my finger in the tank and pet her. She must have enjoyed it, because she would stay. And I would go "BITE! BITE!" and stick my finger in the tank, and she would latch on, most of the time removing some of my skin/fingernail with her little angry teeth. She enjoyed picking up rocks in her mouth and spitting them at the side of the tank, and killed several different fish that we tried putting with her- a tricolor shark (the little guy) 2 PCs, and her husband Burt II, who was a larger Oscar. She would jump out of the tank when she got really mad, and the color red pissed her off.
Angry Bettos when she was still kinda small. One of the few pics I have of her.

Sheesh, nothing but "me, me, me" in this thread. It seems so self centered!

So, I'm currently a student. Minoring in Computer Science, and majoring in Russian, and German. Grew up speaking Spanish and English, so by the time I finish school in the next year or so I will be able to converse fairly well in 2 extra languages. Hoping to go back to work for Uncle Sam once I graduate. But there's so many things I would like to do in this lifetime that sometimes it just seems like I'll never get the chance to do them. Still, I keep my head up high and keep working for opportunities!

I love interacting people, especially people who speak 3 languages or more. I love learning languages. It's my forte!

I like mountain biking, kayaking, going hiking, being outside really. But the location and current temperature of South/ Central Texas makes a lot of my hobbies not so fun. haha

Hanging out with good people, they seem to be getting more difficult to find now-a-days. Unless of course it's a tacomaworld meet!

Sehr cool! Ich habe nur zwei Semestern studiert. Ich will viele Sprache lernen! Was machst du in der Freizeit? Auf Deutsch bitte!

I've been thinking of starting threads for both languages, to post what I've learned, the basic greetings, rules of grammar, so that others can input as well, or maybe learn the basics too. Also post links to helpful websites and such, or youtube videos.
