some of us hate our parent-in-laws.

i am not a superfan of my FIL. be enough about them.

what do they think of you?:)

and if you have married kids; do you like your kid-in-law?

my FIL is super shy and has barely spoken a complete paragraph to me. i think he likes me.

my MIL loves me. i just mention some food i like, and she will get it or make it for me. she also encourages my wife to let me buy the things i want. (i dont tho)

what is the climate in your extended family?

My FIL is an egotistical shit who has to one-up you.
My MIL is a brain dead gossiping bitch who can't stand the sound of silence.

And to top it all off, they adore me. I am the best thing since sliced bread.

No they never liked me. They felt like their daughter married down. They had a party when the older daughter got engaged and I over heard them tell the grooms mother "We like your Bill better". All is good now cause the older they get they dont remember shit, Now I am the best thing since sliced bread

I like my inlaws so much we built our house down the street from them. Yea. The biggest plus is it makes daycare so much easier.

I think mine like me. We get along fine, fairly newly married though. There are things about my FIL that I really have a problem with and I'm sure at some point it'll get aired out so he might not like me for long but I can see myself getting along with my MIL pretty well (they're divorced). MIL's boyfriend is a really cool guy. FIL's wife is batshit crazy!

MIL in nice and like me (I think :notsure:)
Ive only met the FIL twice. Hes a good person though, strait forward. I enjoy talking with him, and with the MIL for that matter.

I think a good relationship with the In-Laws makes the wife happy. So I do what I gotta do. But its easy to get along with them

weve had our ups and downs but always works out in the end

Ex in-laws were pieces of crap. FIL was a lazy fuck who thought the world owed him a living and preferred welfare to working. MIL was a fat, sloppy slag who was a compulsive shoplifter. She used to pull up in our driveway, then lay on the goddamned horn as though we were supposed to go out and wait on her. She's dead now, and if there's any justice in the universe, then he will be too. In other words--I'm not a fan (of them or their daughter), but they sure liked me!

Mil and fil love me...I mean...whats not to love?
Theyre divorced....when I asked my fil to marry his daughter he says, "are you sure? She's a lot like her mother, y'know?"
    I laughed...now I know what he meant.
    But really...wifey is pretty cool.

Inlaws love me.. hard not to get along with them. MIL is the type that always makes sure your fed and full. She always helps out in any way she can when they visit. FIL still thinks hes 21 and enjoys drinking.

My in-laws liked me..it was kind of strange, most girls I've dated prior to my wife were children of divorce and didn't talk to their fathers, or one exception where she hated her father and for good reason, yet the guy always thought the world of me which I wasn't thrilled about. One day I brought her home from work sick, she walked by him and he didn't say a word just started talking to me about my Camaro.

My mother in law was real fun..you could sit down at the table and play cards, yell at the Sox on TV and tell them they sucked along with her, etc.

My father in law is very passive. When I first met them my wife suggested "he loves to talk about 2 things..sports and his colon..try to keep him on the sports". Nuff said.

So far as I know they always liked me..even though we are a little older I asked both of them for permission to marry their daughter and they were thrilled about it. Her mother passed away 7 months after we were married which sucked but I'm just happy to have had her blessing.

The only one that has ever really disliked me is my ex's older sister. I dated my ex for 6 yrs and her sister never had any use for me from the start, in large part b/c she was a busybody and one of those who believed nobody was good enough for her little sister. Bitch sure knew who to ask when she needed a favor or her car needed fixing..which I did at first to keep the peace and win her over, but eventually started saying no and she hated me more for it.
