How to get these stains off of month old grill??

I got this grill about a month ago and after every grilling I clean it with 409 all over... But these brown stains around the actual grill part stay, don't know what to do about them... How to get these stains off of month old grill??-imageuploadedbytapatalk1374707679.134617.jpg

those aren't stains... that's the heat discoloring the metal, that's why i don't use stainless steel

Is there a reason you want it off? Every stainless grill I've ever used has discoloration. It's gonna get discolored from the heat and you can't stop it.
