Hi, I am really into aviation and would like to get a pilots license some day. Being young and broke sucks since I'm still in college at the moment. So, anyone like me and puts a lot of hours into flight simulator games like FSX? I like to download freeware planes and add them to my computer. Anyone else share the same interest?

Yea, I like aviation games. I haven't really played any since the old school microsoft simulation game. HAHA just looked at FSX and it looks to be the same game, granted much newer.

My mom is a pilot and my dad is an airline mechanic so naturally I know planes. We have the full flight sim setup at home... Yoke, rudders, throttle and flaps stuff. I like to pretend I know how to fly until it comes down to landing. I can never. My mom actually uses the instruments in the game like in real life. Learn them and you will be way ahead when you learn to fly.
