Gorilla 97 posted a verse in another thread, which made me think why not create this thread.

I latched on to my Momma's favorite verse.

NIV.......Romans 8:28; And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

 

Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you always."

 

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

can't say its my favorite, but it's a kick in the seat of the pants every time i read it:
