We lost several journeymen to early retirement buyouts. To fill gaps, I will work day shift (temporarily;)) until management gets things figured out.

It will more than likely lead to dayshift permanantly since I'm due to go to 1st anyway.

I will finally get to see the kids and wife in the evening,:D but my time on TW will dwindle drastically.:(

The office/control room I'm in is empty on 2nd, but will be heavily traveled during dayshift, leading to more people monitoring my activity. And since I live in the boon-docks, TW at home on dial up is too slow.

Weekends might give me more time to check in due to less traffic in this control room.

There will be many 12 hour days for us since we are short handed, so some days I will work until 7pm, which might also give some time to check in.

I'm ecstatic folks!!!! I miss my little 9 year olds soooooooo bad. They leave me heart wrenching notes all the time wanting me to tuck them in at night like I always used to.:( I miss my wife so very much too.....as my profile says, they are my life!!

You all are my family too.:D Thanks for the help and entertainment to make some slow nights pass by quickly.

    Still see ya 'round some......Ben :quickdraw:Benita :quickdraw:Nicholas :quickdraw:Kaitlin :quickdraw:

bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
while both shifts have there merits, I like days, and I like the way that sleeping at night, and getting up in the morning feels, to me, congrats on the new shift.

Thanks alot for the well wishes and kind words everyone. Yep Will I'll still stop in some.

My wife is not a touchy feely sentimental person,(that's me, go figure:p) but she knows what has been going on at my work, and that a shot at days is on the horizon.

This is unlike her to even say she misses me, cause she buries her sadness, but this is the e-mail I got from her today:

    Hey,
Hope you are having a great day. I really do miss you being home with us in the evenings.

    Benita

Boy is she in for a surprise when I get home tonight and wake her up to tell her the great news....:D:D:D

You stinkin' yoyo's 'round here are the greatest, thanks again!!!:quickdraw:
