play/project car

ive left this on my local forum, but wanted to leave this here to see what the masses say LOL. keep in mind that i still have my truck (13 trd OR), my daily (13 xb), and my wifes truck (13 4r) and have no plans on selling those off to fund this project.

if you guys had the choice to have a play/project. which would you pick? ive got my eyes set on these. now to find a non abused choice lol.

and lastly, brz/frs. i have this in mind but its gotta be the sti/trd iteration which isnt released yet.

 

Any would be fun. I wouldn't do the taco. I'm really wanting a 370z. But i've also been looking at other rwd cars to fit my need for speed.

 

STI, subie's are awesome.

 

My vote is STI. But I'm a little biased.

 

Used Miata for a cheap track car with a turbo add on pushing about 7psi.

ive listed sti and xrunner becuase ive had those before. i love those. the others are because ive always wanted those. all of those have handling and power in mind. not to get crazy but just something to build upon.

 

beavis: for budget i would say open but not unlimited. i guess whatever price range those specific cars fit in. oddly enough, they are all about the same price range LOL. i always lived the z car but was never really in a position to get one because of me having kids and needing a daily. now i got those out of the way i can focus on a car to fool around with.

Have you considered a bike? That's what appeases the speed demon in me. Cheaper, faster, handle better

 

mowtaco: i have actually. i dont have a lot of bike experience. so im not THAT comfortable on them. i did have a cbr600 several years ago, but ended up selling it shortly after. ive had a few quads, but we both know its not the same. if i did end up getting a bike, cbr900rr or gixxer750 is the ones i would look at. im not gonna go 600 cause im kinda a big guy and need the extra displacement to power my weight around LOL.

 

Buy a used Tacoma and go long travel with it

 

If you're big you can rule out the S2K right now

I personally vote 135i or 335i BMW.

300hp twin turbo straigh 6's are hard to turn down haha. If you do get one make sure it's under warranty.

 

I say a 350z or G35/37 coupe shell with a built RB26 or SR20 in it. Then strip the interior and enjoy the rwd fun.
