    Looks promising. I dont know about that frame though. Vehicles nowadays are so much more vulnerable to frame damage than older model vehicles.

    It's a 4x4, buy it cheap, then turn it into a trail rig you can always strengthen the frame with tubing, or make a new section of frame.

    Yeah, that aluminum bar. It is meant to unite the front frame, to absorb most of the impact and to provide support to the plastic bumper. I think that it is called the impact bar.
