    Nice chasing.

Question: Do traffic officers on motorcycle units (specifically the BMW RT1200) have a quick hydraulic jack function to prop up the bike when they have to get off quick to pursue on foot? In this video, the officer dismounted on the right side, and since the foot jack is on the left, it's presumed a normal motorcycle would fall over.

My dad and I got into a debate over it tonight, since he has owned an ex-CHP unit 2003 R1150T-P, a 2012 R1200RT civilian bike, and now a dual sport 1200GS-A. He says the bike fell over after the officer dismounted, I say there is a hydraulic, switch-operated jack that comes down to hold up the bike.

    Any ideas?

Nah you can see the bike rest on a stand, ive seen hydraulic tire jacks where a stand comes down from the top rear and actually comes over the rear tire and rests on both sides, But it definitely looks like it came to a rest into a lean on the right... Maybe theres a kickstand on both sides :notsure:

Awesome riding by the officer, I just don't understand why people run from the police. Luckily no one was hurt because that jackass decided to run.

Yes, there are actuators and switches on the windscreens for these BMW's. Pretty cool while riding.

He also has to be cautious around the intersections. He doesn't have a cage.
