    357sig's kid is in the third grade and for reason one of the homework questions is "about how many tennis balls is 283?"

    Id go with 280 because you usually round up to the tenth before hundreths and since its 283, 280 is closer then 290.

    I would say about 285. maybe. When i was in school i always hated guesstimation problems because the teach always wanted something different than what i got and not as accurate
