A moment of silence please, for Zoe.

Thats aweful man. I had to put my black lab "Pepper" down on July 4. It was one of the worst memories of my life. However I guess I'm lucky to say we just had to put her down of old age. She had arthritis really bad and couldn't even walk anymore. She was 14. Ur dog was beautiful. I've always heard getting another one mends the heart and I'm sure thats true, although I havn't gotten another one yet.... but I definitely will in time.

Sorry to hear that. A friend of mine just had his Springer Spaniel put down last week (he was 13). He called me and asked me if I wanted to visit with the dog before he took him to the vet the next day. I've been around him for the last 6 years. The old guy was in bad shape. He could barely move his back legs (he had to be picked up so he could walk and was very wobbly when he was up). He was in a lot of pain and had some tumors as well. My buddy's not an overly emotional guy but when he called me to tell me about it, I could hear him breaking up over it.
