What might an alien agenda for earth be?

If they're so far advanced ahead of us why not control us with weapons/power instead of infiltrating the gov.

Alien stories and the ancient alien theory might be a strategy by the gov. to undermine religion much like communist in the soviet union tried to do by banning religion.

I think that there are too many possibilities of what does or doesn't exist and that we will never have definitive answers to a lot of questions.

I personally do believe in ghosts - partly because of an experience that I have had and partly because of an experience that a friend had.
My experience was this: about 8 years ago I was living in Alaska. I was at work at the visitor center/museum one night and it was well past sunset. I was the only one left in the building, it was about 5:45, 15 minutes before closing time. I know that I was the only one left as I had gone through and checked all of the doors on the offices and stock room prior to my coworker leaving for the night at 5pm. I was just sitting at the front desk in the lobby and staring out the front doors when someone walked out of the hallway to my right. I froze. I knew there was no one else in there with me yet I was seeing a human figure at the edge of the hall. This hallway had the offices and stock room (which was a basement with no windows or other exits) but all of the doors were shut and I hadn't heard a door open. I clearly saw this figure take three of four steps in the hall, emerge into the lobby, pause, turn to look out the window over their right shoulder, turn around to face the hall again, pause, looked back at me, and walk down the hall out of sight. I just sat there for a minute dumbfounded. When I finally snapped out of it I walked out to the middle of the lobby to look down the hall and saw nothing. The doors were all shut and no one was there. We also had several items in the museum that would fall over or move for no apparent reason - these items were all in locked, protective display cases. We ruled out earthquakes being the cause since that was the most logical.

I have nothing to say on Bigfoot considering my grandfather worked for 50 years as a logger and he never saw anything out of the ordinary. I just find it hard to believe Bigfoot could be real. It would be like the megaladon surviving.

I don't know about Megaldon but its along the lines of the giant squid. Is it still or maybe in last few years it took to see one alive? I can't remember if one has been seen alive yet.
