I've had a few episodes of sleep paralysis. Scariest thing that has ever happened to me by far.

I woke up in pitch black with 2 red glowing eyes over me with a massive weight on my chest. I couldn't move or make sound and I genuinely thought I was going to die. I still remember how tight my chest felt after it felt like I was having a heart attack.

It happened again a while later but this time someone was slowing walking at me from across the room. I wanted to get up and defend myself but I was totally paralysed. It was similar to having this stare you in the face and not be able to do anything.

Maybe you experienced some thing similar?

^ Yup, except I felt myself falling into a coffin like pit kinda like on "Trainspotting"... couldn't move or make a sound. Blackness staring at me from the corner of the room. I woke up in a panic because I couldn't breath.

Ive had sleep paralysis before and really hate it, had 2-3 episodes within a few months. I heard some creepy laughing, saw 2 red eyes and just felt the presence of evil on one. After that I researched it and the next couple werent so bad because I knew it was just all in my head.

The worst part is your half awake and know it. Kinda freaky when that happens.

I've had it happen 3 times. Once when I was about 12. Saw something out of the corner of my eye in the hallway but couldn't move my head. Definetly saw something watching me around my doorframe from the hallway. I counted to 100 three times and after each 100 opened my eyes and caught movement and shut my eyes again. After the third time it was gone. I got up and jumped in bed with my parents. 2nd time I was working on a ranch in Hereford Tx and had a waking dream that I was in a cabin looking out on a prarie from bed thru an open door. I heard something like someone was walking on the roof. I couldn't move. I heard something "come off" or "jump off" the roof on either side of the porch and walk into the doorway. They were about 3 1/2 feet tall and covered in hair with no real face but black eyes. They looked @ each other than @ me and than walked in to the foot of the bed. I felt like I was 12 again. they looked @ each other than walked to either side of my bed and still I couldn't move. I was scared shitless. I "woke up" or " came too" late in the morning in my bunk sweating profusely. My buddy asked me what I was doing back in bed as he thought I had already got up earlier and started work because I wasn't in bed when he checked. I didn't tell him anything. 3rd time I was in Rota Spain around 1993. I was in billeting on base. My room had about a 2 inch gap under the door that let light flood in my room from the communal bathroom across the hallway when someone opened it's door. I heard somone walking down the hall and turned my head to see what time it was seeing the clock read 0030 local on my nightstand. As I turned my head fwd again when whoever went into the bathroom it illuminated my room and the same two figures from my prarie dream were standing on a dresser @ the end of the room. They looked @ each other than @ me and climbed down. I was scared shitless again but a little pissed as well. Someone went into the bathroom again and now "they" were @ the foot of my bed. I couldn't move but I could see. "They" walked on either side of my bed and I just closed my eyes and counted. I counted to 500 opened my eyes and nothing I turned my head and the clock read 0247. When I could move I got up and turned on the lights and preceded to tear my room apart, looking for something/anything to make sense of what I thought just happened. Nothing. I'm 45 now, hasn't happened since but the hair on the back of my neck is standing on end as I type this.

For the record I pre-cry and piss myself before I leave the house everyday. It just gets it out of the way if something unusual happens later. I like to be prepared.

Just a bunch of old crap
That sounds VERY similar. I remember not wanting to move for fear of being "noticed". Somehow after a few minutes I fell back to sleep laying there so still. Eyes closed again, afraid to open them and see something in my face. Horrifying feeling, and for being a teenager this wasn't some 4 year old Boogeyman kind of thing.
