I came across some puppies in a duffle bag by one of those clothing drop off bins in town. It's unreal how sick people are but that's a whole different conversation. I was just wondering if anyone on the forums could help me find out what breed these little guys are so I can start advertising and finding them homes. This is the clearest picture I have but I can try to get more if needed.

Dont know what breed but they are cute. Hopefully you can find them a good home. All 3 of my dogs were rescue puppies.

Post more. I want to say boarder collie / terrier mix but I'm not so sure. I think sort of terrier and probably a mutt. Seeing the others may help.

Good job on taking them in. You're better than most.

Son of a bitches! Not the dogs, the ingrates that left them!

Wheelspinner, thanks for doing the right thing and trying to locate them a home, not many of your type left out there!

Wish I could help you out with determining the breed, but like Beavis said, a vet is your best bet. Good looking litter!

Almost look like they could be a Springer Spaniel mix. The ears dont look quite right to be a pure springer.

When they are that young it's hard for even vets. My 2 dogs are both rescues I found when they were < 8 weeks old. The vet I took them to got the breed wrong when they were puppies and we didn't get it exactly right until they were about 6 months. (They are black lab/boxers I now know).

    Good luck finding them homes!

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I was gonna say the same. It has the muzzle/coat of a Spaniel, but the other physical characteristics of a Border Collie.

    Here's a Border Collie / Cocker mix:

This. They're some sort of spaniel mix.

I think euthanasia would have been more appropriate.

More humane than stuffing them into a duffle bag to die from dehydration, hypoglycemia and exposure. I also say this as someone who was in veterinary care for 7 years.

Ok I was thinking you were talking about op..... would have been better to to take them to the animal clinic walk in drop them off walk out. Most have a no question policy.

Op if I didn't already have two hell hounds I would be more than glad to take one of those little guys from you.

They look like Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

the puppies I have seen that were KCS had a lot more floppy/longer ears. With the shorter face it could be, atleast in the mix. It is kinda hard to tell at the age, but whenever I come across a thread like this I always think, "man, if we could do bets and see whos right a few months down the line".
