weird situation

ya she claims she blocked him on fb, but they go to school together she tries to ignore him but from what i can tell he wont stop.. but i said the same thing to my gf i think she likes the attention but she says she is just scared and wants nothing to do with him but shes in fear to do anything incase he like gets his gun out or something..

ya thats a good idea, do you guys think it would be appropriate to inform the school about it or do you think thats kind of outside them?

 

i have no idea on that, is it illegal to carry on a schools premises even with a concealed permit? (its not a actual college/high school its a cosmetology school which might be alittle different?) i dont know enough about the weapon carrying laws to know if its legal.. but im sure the administration has seen it and knows that he carries its fairly obvious..

I wouldn't give two shits if he is a Marine. That should be more of a reason for him to hold himself to a higher standard and not continue the behavior.

He's been asked to stop and does not. Getting a restraining order is the next step.

Because if you really like a girl do you ever "really" listen to your friends? No because there is always the "I should have listened to you guys" conversation when it goes to shit.

How do you know he will freak out and do something? Just because he has a CFP and carries doesn't mean he will. Being an ex-Marine he should be less likely to do so.
What school is it? She could use the school counselor office to have a sit down and tell him with a third party present that she is not interested and is feeling harassed.
If it escalates from there then authorities can get involved.

And yes, in Utah is is legal to carry on any state school grounds. The cosmetology school is a private business and property, so he could be asked to not carry on that private property.

 

My advice is for you and your girlfriend to not get involved. As for the restraining order, it sounds nice but in reality you have to prove the person is a threat. I helped my mom get a restraining order against one of her ex boyfriends. She had voice mails and texts saved on her phone that did the trick, not just obsessive stuff but threatening stuff etc. Has he actually threatened her at all? Another thing, it will all come out when she files for the order. So, if she has talked to him at all or flirted with him, ie: dragging him along and he has records .. that will look really bad to the judge.

After she unfriends him on FB and cuts off the contact with him she needs to contact local authorities, but she needs to cut off contact as soon as possible.

 

thats also true and to be honest i have no idea there conversations outside of what she has told my girlfriend,, he has sent somewhat threatening texts saying like you know you want me get back with me and stuff not any threats of violence though.

 

Then have her sit down with a third party adult, like the school counselor, and make sure it is all laid out.

Easy.

 

What she should do is just simply stop talking to him, go to a different school and make sure she leaves town asap.

its not that easy as there is only one of these exact schools in town and its fairly prestiges when it comes to cosmetology schools
