I will reserve a nice room for you. If there are any morticians / funeral directors here perhaps they can offer you a discount for the brain cell challenged. Sigh...

Others here started in on the DUI thing, I'm just pointing out that the law and enforcement is extremely flawed and not aimed at protecting people from drunks.

Breaking a law while not causing harm to any innocent person should not be illegal as no harm is done. Like a guy who likes to sit at home after a day's work and smoke a joint. Depending on his state laws it may be illegal, but who's harmed?

I drive safely and courteously, breaking pointless laws along the way doesn't negatively impact any person. I've been driving with a cell phone since about 1993 and it has never caused me to be distracted from my driving. Speeding has never caused me to be a hazard. Drinking two beers has absolutely no effect on my thought processes or motor skills, yet would put me over the magic number. I had one of my cop friends do a field test on me as I was leaving his house after drinking a crapload of whiskey and beer, just for fun. I passed all physical tests but was way over .08. Tho passing I knew I was drunk as hell so I didn't drive. I take personal responsibility for my actions, I don't need arbitrary laws to tell me not to be a jack ass.

They started because of the bad accident that killed six innoccent people because a drunk fool.

You also pointed out that you're not aiming to protect other drivers but instead contributing to the danger or problem and "will continue" right?

Plenty of good LEO's out doing there best to protect people, why try and make it harder for them?

Comparing the guy who sits at home and smokes a fatty, is a complete different scenario, to say the least to a person who gets behind the wheel after drinking alcohol and decides to hit the open road with many lives at risk. BIG diff.

And do you see even that scenario you gave about drinking a crap load of whiskey and beer, how many others could or would say I was fine so I drove, then kill six people?

You say you take responsibility for your actions, does that mean hiring a lawyer to bail your ass out in court, or saying the right things when you get pulled over.

Also you should remember that not all punishments are handled by the courts.

Speeding, talking on your phone, and drinking are not safe or courteous forms of driving

Passed all physical tests? There are tests that indicate you are high percentage likely to be over .08, for instance horizontal gaze nystagmus. You can not cheat this test as nystagmus is an involuntary jerking of the eyes. There are 6 clues and having a bac of over .08, all 6 clues are obvious. I'm surprised you have cop friends, since you are such dumbass with certain things.

Many emotionally driven responses here, I hope few of you are voters. I drive a lot and have been driving longer than some of you have been alive and I've caused no accidents. Some people can't make the distinction between breaking a law and being a 'piece of shit', too bad. I drive all my friends cars, bikes, boats, RVs, etc. because they all acknowledge I'm a good safe driver and competent enough to drive anything effectively. I'm the guy who drives their car home from bars because I can see what everyone's drinking and stop in time to be sober later when I can tell they're not going to. The name calling has no effect on me so have at it. I don't need a mod to intervene, but they really shouldn't be breaking their own rules. Like most emotionally driven people, they think rules are for the other guy. They're above their own rules while giving me stink for breaking the states' rules. I won't name anyone I've personally met from this forum after this attack, but it's safe to say their opinion would not be what was expressed here by a few people who took a statement and ran with it. Enjoy the mob experience and enjoy your ignorance.

Then yell at them, I don't do things that endanger others.

Its okay though even OJ's lawyer won't be able to save you when a road rager ends up beating you ass.
Maybe then you can explain to him how the laws don't keep you safe.
