    Im pretty sure there will be little to no tax, after all its currency first and bullion second, likewise whos to say they are selling it off all at once?


    And yes California as well as other places still have gold to be found.

    Now instead of paying 47% tax they probably won't get any of it. Fame was more important to them than the gold and they'll get what they get. If you want to get robbed, just tell the IRS what you have, they'll find a way to take it even if it means fabricating a story to get it from you.
