have not seen a thread. but funny how some comments say there is now law anywhere that says you have to move over or keep right. when most stats have some kinda law on it.

The left lane is the passing lane dumb beyotch.
He had been behind you for three minutes, meaning that when he first got behind you, you were turning left in THREE miles, not a half mile.
He managed to pass you, you couldn't have quickly moved over to let him by, then back into your lane?

Truck driver was a dick and he got what he deserved for the way he handled the pass, but she put him in that position. A little courtesy on her part 3 minutes earlier would have avoided the whole thing.

I know in my state it is now law that you must stay out of the left lane unless passing. I think it has been in effect awhile.

Bullshit! Driver put himself in that position and no one else. Passing lane on a 2 lane divided highway? Florida has no passing lane or left lane law. Jasmine looked up Florida laws and confirmed that.

When someone is up on my ass such as the way that dude was...I won't pull over...I'll slow down to make him or her pass me. Why should I give them the courtesy of moving over when I'm obeying the law and what not

Edit: Jasmine says not to add her name lmao

Law or not, it's courteous driving.
California requires 5 cars to be lined up behind you before you are required to move over unless signed for slower traffic to keep right, but that doesn't stop me and other drivers from moving over to allow someone to pass when they are approaching from the rear.

"Every asshole who drives faster than I do is a martyr for my perfect driving record"

I'll gladly let you have the ticket that I deserved for doing 75 in a 65 if you want to pass me doing 80 ;)

looks like she is going kinda slow anyways so could be longer than 3 miles. Also could be illegal to use the phone depending on the states laws, failure to not move over to faster traffic and keep right.. It dose not look like he is right up her A$$. i can’t count how many people have got so close to my rear bumper that i could not see headlights or front bumper in any of my mirrors.
I see more wrong on her part than his. but the way he handled it was stupid and he got what he deserved. she is also a bitch because he could have really been hurt and she just keep going and laughing.(not likely that he is or was hurt but he could have been, truck also could have flipped)

i try not to get in far left lane unless i need to, and watch mirrors kinda close and if i see someone coming up close i try and get over before they even got close to me.

I'll get over before he has a chance to get on my ass like that if I can.

She said he'd already been back there for a minute before she started recording, and she watched him pass a truck on the left.
She knew he was an unsafe driver, the sane thing to do is to get as much distance between her and him as possible... not to attempt to create a rolling roadblock, which NEVER ends well.

And another thing I do to help the tailgating jackals that's on my ass...I'll turn on my windshield washer spray for as long as they are close to me. That works good most of the time hehe

Ya, if I can't get over to let them pass, I'll do that.
More effective than a brake check and legal.

I'm at the age that I don't even deal with aggressive drivers. If they want it that bad they can have it. I like my truck in one piece. Yeah sometimes other people piss me off but I can't control what they do I can only control what I do.

Nope..but I curse a lot tho. But seriously, I have a full time running dash cam, anybody would be dumb to road rage and act a fool with one that is always recording.

If I can see from a distance that someone is faster then me and gaining on my distance then I'll gladly move over when I can. But if all of sudden some yahoo appears out of nowhere because they were weaving in and out of trafffic that I hadn't notice and gets all up on my Kool aid expecting me to move over for them then well.. time to clean my front windshield.

In that video it doesn't appear that there were 5 or more vehicles behind her..

Exactly what I do. If I see them coming at a steady pace I usually scoot over to let them by. Unless traffic is bad, then I keep my spot. If some asshole is weaving everywhere trying to get through, I will once in awhile make it a game to not let him by me. I just ride steady with the guy next to me. Only for a few minutes, then they usually get around somehow.

Edit: I did this to some guy once who was actually in a tacoma, and he finally swerved around and pinned it, cutting someone off. The second he did that a motorcycle cop came and pulled right past me to get him. It was pretty good.
