What to get my 6 yr. old for her Birthday?

I know its a random topic to need help on, but I'm at a loss.. Can't think of what the heck to get my little girl for her birthday next weekend.

She's into most little girl stuff; barbies, make-up, dress-up, blah blah. She also loves the outdoors. Problem is I have a large family and this little girl is not exactly spoiled - but shes got a lot of stuff.

I have only a week and I want to get her something really cool - but also maybe something that is learning based or whatnot. I hate , I mean HATE cheap over priced plastic Walmart crap. I was thinking of hitting up Wonder Works but a lot of their stuff is for kids just a wee bit older..

So fellas -- I'd be really greatful to any ideas that are contributed. Oh, and happy Saturday everyone

Does she know how to ride a bike already? http://www.skuut.com/ Both of my nephews and daughter learned to ride a skuut before a bike. It teaches balance.

That's hilarious I was thinking the same thing.

OP get her some princess dresses or some kind of activity books on what she likes. Little kids love coloring and all that stuff.

I kinda did this. I bought my 5 yr old a Savage Rascal for Christmas. Never too early to get them started in the right direction. Pink of coarse.

LOL - we were actually thinking about getting her a kids crossbow thingy. She has a bow and arrow and loves it.

I'm all for outdoor stuff- and the idea about creative books and such is a good one too - kids do love that kind of stuff

I wish I had those when I was little. Made to show girls that they can be engineers too. Never actually seen them in person but figured I'd share. I always loved legos when I was little.
