Fuck you mean don't waste money on Rigid? Highest quality LEDs you can buy with the best warranty. And they're made in America. Bitch.

    Rigid is crazy expensive.

But like I said yesterday, in 10 years, Rigid will still be an industry leader. The other light bar suppliers aren't likely to be so, and I'd bet won't be around then either. If Rigid didn't exist in 10 years I'd be really fucking surprised.

Exactly. I have D2s and they are crazy bright. Can't run them at night with oncoming traffic, I just flip them on and off with my high beams though.

Best quality but failing 3 times per year? Why are LEDs failing so often?? If it weren't for that... I'd buy them

Confused. What are D2s? What do you mean you flip them on and off with high beams?

What do you mean failing 3 times a year?

D2 dually light pods. And I flip them off whenever I'm approaching a car.

He's talking about Mr Jimmie Rustler's LES bulbs failing 3 times so far in less than a year.

I cannot see paying $600-1000 for a $200 light bar. There are other companies with lifetime warranties.

    Oh ok that makes sense.
Wait. AR your truck isn't modded?
Are there any TW vendors who have not had many products fail? Would you buy from rigid?

I looked at CSJumpers thread and he says his lights are priced from 25-60. Not sure if that's for a set but 60 isn't bad.

Warranties are only good for the life of the company supporting those warranties..

I heard you. I meant to also ask if there are TW vendors you trust not to fail. Also, if there is a vendor whose customers have ran LEDs for years without fail, I'm not worried about the warranty. I'm trying to figure out if there is a set of LEDs that doesn't go out in 6 months.

Austen, that one hurt me. You think i haven't modded my truck.

I fucking hate when people say that shit. Just because i have no lift, fancy wheels, and bigger tires than stock, does not mean that i don't already have thousands of dollars put into/onto my truck

I don't follow TW vendors all that closely, outside of things I personally want/need, which has been only Wheeler's Offroad, Headstrong Offroad, ImMrYo.

I'd buy from Rigid if I (a) had that much money to burn, AND (b) wanted warranty coverage that I'd actually be able to use 5 years down the road.

I like supporting small business, so likely I'd give me money to one of the TW members selling reasonably priced bars, but I'd do this with the reasonable likelihood that if I have a bar failure in 5 years I'll be SOL on warranty coverage. The warranty itself isn't worth (to me) the extra 3/4-2/3 price increase between one of the "average" light bars and the Rigid product.

If there's one thing I've learned in life it's that you pay for what you get. Saying that Rigid is over priced is like saying why buy Hellas, KC lights, or PIAAs when you can get halogen lights for $30 at the local parts store.

Sure, there's products other than Rigid that are good. But they are a company based in the USA with a product assembled by American workers using high quality components and good quality control.

This is coming from a guy who drops $$$ for a pair of Oakleys because they are superior and made in USA though.
And being an industry leader is promising for the company's future.

What kind of LEDs are we talking about here? Where are they going?

If you can try and buy products using Cree LEDs.
