Just curious what everyone's first cars/trucks were!

Mine was a 1977 Ford Granada hand-me-down from my grandma when she passed. It didn't have a working engine and the paint was SHOT; however, the interior was showroom condition. With a full engine overhaul, $500 Macco paint job later, i had a pretty decent runner.. and much different from other kid's stuff in highschool. A dual flowmaster system on that v8 302 was pretty sweet too. High output grandma car! Here's a picture i took with my cellphone of a picture i have on my mantle. This was pre deep dish chrome rims with white letter tires. Sorry about the quality.. its the only picture i have of her. =(

My first car I bought myself was a 1972 Ford Pinto Sedan. I had wide tires, traction bars, crager wheels, and I had put duel carbs and headers on a 4 banger. It was tricked out and could actually pull the front wheels off the ground. She was a sleeper.

Mine was my Uncle's 1972 Plymouth Fury III. Ran great, got 12 MPG, had power everything, but man did it leak when it rained. The body was rotten. Wish I'd kept it though. Second car was a 87' Toyota Celica. Pretty sweet looking car. Had ZERO power. Third is my 96 Taco. Still love it.

Oh ya- I still have my 'other' car, a 55' Mercury Monterey 4 door. I can fit 7 or 8 people in that thing. Massive engine in there too. People are surprised how fast a 22 foot long car will go.

1980 Plymouth Horizon..... It was already 8 years old when I got it and a junker. Amazingly enough, the thing got me back-n-forth from home to college (4 hour drive) for many years. I learned all sorts of things from that thing.....as it slowly broke down piece by piece. One of the cylinders finally gave up and it went to the junkyard.

Well, not completely my truck, I got the pick it out. I was told to find the vehicle I wanted, and thats what I would learn to drive. When I was 14, we purchased a 2004 (pretty sure it was 04) Toyota Tacoma. Green 4 banger 4X4 5 speed. I really wish I still had it.

1964 Renault R8 4 speed. After I had a year's driving experience, the old boy allowed me to drive his brand new 1969 Dodge Super Bee. I used to bounce from 50 hp to 345 hp. The only rule he had about me driving the Bee was that I had to refill the gas tank. By my senior year I was driving the Bee full time.
