If you know anyone that works at a place that manufactures bullets hit them up. Certain ones allow employees to buy rounds in bulk at cost its a great way to stock up cheap

Same situation here in the Southeast. It's available in most of the smaller shops and free lance hoarder/resellers but you probably won't like the price. The big box stores still sell it at their normal markup but they started imposing a limit even if you get there early enough.

I think it started with the imaginary shortage scares of the last couple years. The smaller realized realized they could jack their prices greatly and still sell it out. Then the freelancers got into it buying at Walmart and selling it tripple. I think they even recruit helpers to wait in line now to get around the store limits. It seems to be slowing a little though with the small shop prices beginning to come down some, but still not like before the scare epidemics started.

Just happened in Walmart this morning while buying a rimfire scope for my nylon 66. Had one box of federal 350 for $16. Right place at the right time I suppose. I've got a few thousand saved up right now. It's just become a habit of mine when I go into a store and see if they have any.
