2nd Blood moon Oct. 8th

Second blood moon, first one was back in April it was one of the coolest things I've seen. Don't miss the upcoming one.

For those that will be awake this will occur in a couple of hours do not miss it!
2 am pacific time, 3 am mountain time, 4 am central time, 5 am eastern time

 

My wife and I got up at 2:30 this morning to see it. Pretty cool. We had nice, clear skies. I tried taking a picture with my phone but it's a bit blurry. It would auto-focus it, which made it blurry. I'll see if I can get a picture up when I get home. I probably should have shot it with a tree in the foreground so the auto-focus would hone in on the tree.

 

Sweet. Yeah get a picture up when you can, I'd love to see it.
The last two blood moons will be upcoming on April 4th and then again on September 28th of next year. Hopefully I'll have a better camera by then.
We had partly cloudy skies over here, I would've been able to see it if I stayed up till 4. Had to wake up early this morning though

 

I don't think we got to see this on the West Coast. Here's pics from what I got in April down in Huntington Beach, CA. There were 85 pics to sort through...

That's how the moon looks during fire season. Glad I didn't get up early for that.
