Hey TW, just looking for some quick advice. Has anyone here ever had troubles with a new vehicle purchase?
We purchased a brand new vehicle in June and over the past 4 months today was the 4th time we've taken it back and they still cant fix the 2 issues we are having.
Issue #1: Check engine light is on.
Issue #2: AC fan speed dial stops working randomly.
They have replaced parts in the engine but no fix yet. As for the AC, they have replaced 2 parts and the issue is still present, they don't have a clue as to whats causing the issue.
I'm scheduled to take it back on Monday which will be the 5th time.
My question is, I've never been in this situation before and I would like some advice, if possible. Is there a point where it is decided that the vehicle itself is definitely faulty? lemon?
    Thanks in advance guys.

    10-4.
I have documented every visit down to the date, time, and names of every person that I have dealt with, and also the techs that I have duplicated the problem in front of.
Today the shop foreman was unable to even explain a possible reason for the AC dial issue. All he concluded with, was that an engineer had to come see the car and that it could be weeks before that would happen.
The thing for me is that they are already replacing parts on the engine... solenoid, blower motor, timing/phaser? and on the inside, the AC/Stereo bezel.
The peace of mind with this car is pretty much out the window for us.

You might look up the lemon laws for your state, "lemon law" is an often used term, but the real name is Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Read it and understand it carefully and know what your limits are an protections going forward.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Thank you for the suggestions. So far, since the first time I took it in for the check engine light their computer has always pointed to the solenoid. The first time they "fixed" it the tech told me it was dirty so he cleaned it and that it was good to go. 4 miles later, the light was back on. 2nd time I took it back, they either ordered a new solenoid or a part for it. Installed it and once again CE light comes back on about 4 miles later. 3rd time I took it in, again the computer tells them solenoid, so they ordered a part which is pending.
