All men need a chronic ailment to lean on.Whether it exists or not.Stomach aches, headaches, arthritis.Always flares up when she wants to go to the Mall, grocery shopping,in laws, baby showers. You are welcome.Start complaining about it now and by the next time your getting nagged you can exaggerate it and get out of just about anything.

This. It's not uncommon in my area. Hell, half my friends had couples bachelor/bachelorette parties cause the wimins said our parties were better.

I went to a few co-ed baby showers they weren't too bad. It was co-ed so nothing was overly girly and there were other guys there to hang out with. I just sat around and ate food .

We actually just had a co-ed baby shower and it wasn't bad. Most of the girls stayed inside while most of us guys were out back drinking beer.

My buddy had one, but I didn't go for personal reasons. He was talking about having a "diaper party" meaning we all have beer and play pool. Something I would prefer over watching his girlfriend open baby presents from everyone.

I had one because my daughter's mother didnt have any friends, lol. Worked out well for us. I would go to any of my close friend's, male or female but I wouldn't goto my fiance friend's parties unless I owed her one.

We had a co-ed baby shower and it was completely normal. Ours wasn't the typical all the women sitting in the living room and gushing over baby stuff/playing baby games. We had beer, tons of food and it was outside with all our family and friends. We had games to play, but they weren't the main focus of the event, neither were the gifts. It was more to celebrate our baby (she was born (premie) and in the hospital) and to celebrate us becoming a family, not my wife becoming a mom.

Now that doesn't mean all men should be at them. Many are way to feminine and men shouldn't be dragged to them. Hell my brother had a pony keg at his...haha

    been to a few...

make sure there's other guys there. Thats my #1 rule. the guy can not be the soon-to-be father because he will be involved in everything the party is about. The other guys that are going will be just like you....sitting in the garage or another room watching TV or BS'ing outside in the patio, etc.
