I saw that yesterday! amazing!
and it was a 1989 Saab 900 SPG no less!
anybody have an old Taco with high miles? we need to beat his record!

 

Not bad for a SAAB. my 2005 has 57,000 miles so far

 

Still a baby. Only 943,000 to go.

 

I'm not close to that but 263,000 95 Tacoma

 

Someone post up a taco on another forum that was a parts delivery truck that had 750,000 miles on it.

 

I saw another forum, and an escort for an oversize load company had close to a million, well over 900,000, 2wd 5 speed, I-4.

 

I had 375,000 on my old 90 toyota pickup 22RE (still ran like a champ). Only missed it by 625,000.

Well i wonder who has the most miles on their Tacoma on here. I have a friend who drives a 1991 Toyota Pickup with about 195,000 on it and I know another guy with a 1985 toyota pickup with about 270,000 on his. My friend has a Honda CRX with about 335,000 on his.

 

My dad had a 92 Toyota pickup, when he gave it away to his brother it had like 300,000 miles on it (still ran like new). Then the drove it from here (south of houston) to Elpaso then to Washington and back to Elpaso and it ran like a champ. And now it has around 500,000 last I heard, all we raplaced was the water pump, altenator (got salt water all in it) and I think we had the radiator rebuilt. And thats all besides regular maintence. Man I miss that truck..

 

I got almost half way there with my last Toyota truck. It was an 87 4x2 regular cab. Had 480,000 when I sold it and was still going strong. The original clutch went 450,000 and the pressure plate and throwout bearing were still good. The valve cover had never been off it and it still only used a quart of oil every 1500 miles. I sold it because I needed an SUV for my business. If I had any sense I would have kept it. Best vehicle I've ever owned.

... and Saab didnt even give him another Saab? Lame.. I saw VW gave someone with a million miles on there old VW.. Saab should at least do the same...
