    ...i'd recommend NOT going into mexico, period... it's a third-world craphole, and the northern parts (along the u.s. border) are narco-cartel strongholds...

    ...instead, spend some time in "new mexico" (NM), ...it's a beautiful state w/ lots of varied terrain/ecosystems (makes for nice drives), ...santa fe has some amazing food, taos is a pretty neat little town, high desert, mountains, vistas...

    X2. For Corpus Christi theres a huge battleship that is pretty neat, but I'd suggest just chilling on the beach with some beers and enjoy one of the only nice parts on the TX coast lol

    I would recommend spending a little extra time in southern Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. I specifically liked St George, UT and Sadona and Flagstaff, AZ. That whole area is unlike anywhere else.
