I would watch the fuck out of that. Unfortunately, the budget would have to be ridiculously smaller without the commercials, since the advertising is what pays for EVERYTHING on that amazingly expensive show.
Without the advertising it would be
"TONIGHT....James drives a used Focus........Richard pedals a bicycle....and I complain about the ride in a Prius. Plus, we've got (random washed-up former child actor) in our reasonably priced car!"

They were censored on Netflix because they were censored from the BBC, but if it was a new show produced by Netflix, it shouldn't have to be censored.

And since it wouldn't be produced by the BBC, they wouldn't have to watch what they say in the first place.

 

Same. I'm into Season 20 now. I wish Netflix would post the other seasons back up, though. I had been working my way through the entire list again and had only gotten to season 8

 

Every episode ever made is available as a torrent. Full length versions.

When you watch re-runs on BBC America, it's a cut down version.

When you download the torrents, it's full length, with no commercials.

The way they hacked up the Polar Episode for re-runs on BBC is unbelievable....

I believe Top Gear is watched by more people world wide than any other show, and by a lot.

 

Not real computer savvy, to be honest. I just googled it. I'll have to do some more reading up before I use them, though.

My honorary nephews are 6 and 4; they should be able to figure it out for me in another few months.

 

I wouldn't suggest using torrents unless you know what you are doing. Great way to get viruses and other fun stuff on your PC.

 

Yeah, I'll probably go with just buying them on DVD. I've already got a few of the more recent seasons; I'll just start collecting the rest too.

 

Over in the uk you pay a tax that keeps commercials off your shows. A few years ago when i discovered top gear my gf got all 16 seasons for me. NO COMMERCIALS, and each episode is about 20 or so (give or take) minutes longer.. Don't ask me where she got it from, cause I have no clue. My daughters day care employs a guy from the uk. Im gonna talk to him about it. It should be noted, my g/f's ex hubby whom she was married to for 5 years was a brit too.

 

That and some potential legal issues...but my 19 yr old has has torrents mastered. He actually instructed me.

 

There are ways around everything if you know what you are doing.
