16 year old with a baby boy

So one of the white girls in my class got knocked up and delievered her baby boy May 19, 2009 at 8:12 am.

In all seriousness theres something wrong with that picture. A mom that gets drunk 24/7 and that dips....

 

Is she going to put it up for adoption?

and the really gross thing to me is that her and her bf have only been dating for 3-4 months

 

Im sure Mom/Grandma is proud !!! And ready to raise another child....

 

Teen pregnancy is awful! I am up for people who have children but we cannot have babies having babies.

 

Actually her dad kicked her out of her parents house. Lives at her bf house. Her mom is happy but disappointed in her. (from what the Mom said).

You can have babies just be old enough to afford one and be responsible.

At least she does not have 16 like that chick in cali. Nice to know where my tax money goes raising 16 kids for some lady who was lonely.

 

Perhaps schools should quit messing around and start teaching useful pregnancy prevention. Abstinence only education is a waste of time (and the only thing i've been exposed to). Teen pregnancy is never a good thing. Teens aren't prepared to raise a kid both emotionally and financially. It never ends up a good thing for the child.

 

She was probably drunk when it happened. Well your right about the teen pregancy prevention at my school. My high school worries more about drugs and gangs than pregnacies

 

I agree. There is more a couple can do to prevent teen pregnancy. Teens will have sex, but we can try to prevent them from getting pregnant. I understand it is a tough pill to swallow, but teens just don't have (some) resources to prevent pregnancy.

Very sad, hopefully she will reconsider and give it up for adoption.

 

Abstinence only is the ONLY thing that works. don't want kids then don't have sex. have sex and kids is what you could be having next.
