    Do you have a good seal on that oil cap? I used to get that in the winter time on all my old VWs that had bad cap seals....

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    It's normal. It's just condesation built up. Short drives that don't get the engine up to normal operating temp will often cause a pronounced condition of this.

    Condensation due to very short trips. Your oil has no chance to reach operating temperature.

    Cure:
    1.) Find a Highway and stand on her for a while (WOT)
    2.) Change the oil more often as opposed to changing it every 5k or so

    Icon extended travel coilovers and rear shocks, Dakar leaf springs, Toytec U bolt flip, extended length Icon 2.0 rear shocks, Timbren Bump stops ,TC UCAs, Street Taco (Beefedtaco) 1 1/2" CB drop, 4x Innovation DOM tube sliders with kick outs, some extended brake lines,ATO front skid plate, ATO trans skid, ATO Hi Lift brackets, 60" Hi Lift jack and a pine tree air freshener.
    That's normal it's just moisture. Mine does that just a little bit. My Dodge Ram was bad with that. It had a stick in the fill that would collect the moistue from the oil.

    I change my oil every 3500 miles.. i did just take it for a short trip and it did just snow out... when i drained the oil everything looked fine there.. where can i get a new seal for the oil cap?

    It won't happen after one short trip. It is after multiple short trips that this occurs. Pretty much if you never hit the highway this will happen. There are plenty of people running around with their oil looking just like that and they will never know. I'll be honest and say that I didn't even know you could pick up new seals for an oil cap... I would say Toyota Dealership would be your best bet

    thanks for all the input, i just freaked out when i saw that, Ive always thought that when you see white under the oil cap like that it is a blown head gasket!

    Nah, a milkshaked engine will have a much creamier texture and you'd definitely know it once you did an oil change... You've just got some moisture collecting is all. Nothing to worry about
