Yup, that was around 12:30, next picture I'm uploading is an hour later after the rain finally stopped.

Hour later, pushed and dragged cars out of the water, got everything in the office up high.

I have a pretty strict no drinking/no eating policy in my truck unless it's water. So I volunteered to drive me and a few coworkers to lunch at Chipotle, and one of them brings her freshly refilled soda. Fine, I say. I didn't want to be a jerk and say absolutely not to a person I don't really know.

Sure enough, SPLASH. Entire soda spills in the back, on the seat and floor.

Fortunately I have WeatherTechs in the back. Still peeved. :frusty:

I don't know. We had quite a bit but most of this water came from upstream where it rained a lot harder. The creek bottlenecks about 200' from our building.

2 years ago we flooded really bad. About 10 vehicles were totaled, the office had 4' of water in it, and the warehouse had 18" of water. It rained 8" in 2 hours that day.

That sucks. Don't go anywhere near my truck. It's full of GSD hair, slobber, and muddy paws. :D

there is always a double rainbow, but sometimes they are really hard to see. its just the light going through a 2nd round of internal reflection and diffraction. the inner rainbow (smaller radius) is the primary.
also, the area between the between the rainbows is always darker due to the difference in internal reflection from the light rays entering the top of the water droplets vs the bottom of the droplets

additionally, the rainbow you see is unique.....no one else sees the same rainbow you see because a different set of light rays make up the rainbow that is viewed at different spacial points
