    A small handful of select mods.
    Installed this on a friend's truck. Make sure you scrape the paint off the plate, the threads on the bolt, and the threaded hole in the hood so that you get a good ground plane. We still have to redo his as his reception is limited.

    Vehicle never wins. Working in the railroad industry, I see this too much unfortunately.

    Here's some info:
    At 70 MPH the train is traveling 102 FPS
    An average freight train weighs 10,000-15,000 tons
    Do the math ( 20,000,000 * 70 = 1,400,000,000 tons of force
    Please don't try to beat the train guys. Please.

    We have a very busy train line that passes through town....maybe 12 to 15 a day come through. We've only had one serious incident that I can remember - a pedestrian was hit/killed. Actually you can see the wreck for yourself - go to google earth and find belgrade MT then find the intersection of Jackrabbit and Main. The images were taken (I'm sure) as part of hte accident investigation but ended up on GE somehow.

    I’d be more worried about someone stealing it, messing with it or hiding drugs in the package. there is drug deal all day ever day in memphis or memfrica as most in TN call it. also shootings just about every singe day, even in the “best parts” of the city.
