It wasn't scary until afterwards when I realized that if I had died, my parents would have to pay for my funeral. It actually turned out to be my favorite Christmas. I had a whole new appreciation for life and my family, and I knew (not trying to get preachy) that I had some angels looking out for me. So it was a great Christmas. Except for my boss calling me towel head (the bandages) and how everyone kept freaking out when they saw me.
