Missing change from cup holder

Has anyone ever been victim to the change repo man at the car wash?
Pretty slick or they thought he stuck the vacuum in the cupholder and zoop the change was gone!!
What they do is pull this all day then at the end of the day they clean out the vac and split the spoils

Got 5 free car washes out of this manager said he has never heard of this or had a complaint till now so beware

 

Damn... I always err on the paranoid side and keep anything I don't want stolen out of sight when I go through the carwash or vallet or anything like that...

Sucks...

Been there. I almost got into a fist fight over it in my earlier days. I snap a couple pics of my goodies with my phone before I get my car washed.

 

Speaking of which I really need to wash mine.

 

A local car wash sucked up a rather expensive ring from someone I know. When she went back to the management they opened up the vac. They have a nice screen to pour it through. Along with her ring and a necklace (not hers) was what she says had to be at least $50 in change.

 

You should booby trap the change tray somehow.

Like....put some sort of exploding dust pellets in the change tray so when they vacuum up the change, the pellets will explode in the vacuum cleaner.
(Or something similar, that'd be funny!!)

But anyway - that sucks.

I never take my truck to those places. I'm too afraid they'll use some nasty dirty scratchy clothes on my truck & scratch the paint up. They never do a good enough job (to my standards) in terms of interior cleaning.
