Stationed in KS. First state I've lived in where you can buy guns (grew up in MA). So I went to walmart and got a marlin .22 mag bolt action. Great little small game/plinking gun. Me and my friend are bored (it's KS) and hop in his jeep to go drive the dirt backroads in the middle of the night. I bring the .22 and the surefire to spotlight for small game (I never said this was legal).

We're driving, BSing, damn near get his jeep stuck when the 2 track we were driving down dead ended at a 30ft river embankment. Ton of rabbits out and we saw one dart into a field. I hop the barb wire fence (smart:rolleyes:) and start clearing through for Mr Bunny, friend drives along next to me hitting the field with headlights. No luck. We drive off defeated when not 1/4 mile up the road we see another hippity hoppity candidate crusing down the shoulder. He goes up a ways so as not to scare it, slams the brakes, whips the jeep around, and lock and load with a hand on the door handle. We came up on who will hence forth be referred to as "Mr Floppy" he pegs the brakes and before the jeep stops sliding I'm posted up on the open door and send the first road downrange, Mr Floppy does a front flip. I run up to check, gut shot, not moving, pick him up by the foot and he starts kicking. The possessed demon zombie rabbit is thrown to ground and shot one more time point blank in the headish. I really hit him in the next and blew a hole clear through it so his head was only really held on by some skin at the front and the back. I pick him up again and more kicking! Fucker won't die! I throw him down and shoot again, pretty sure that round went through the giant fucking hole I made the first time but regardless after that the kicking was stopped. We bungee cord our trophy to the front bumper of the jeep and drive off.

After more driving and BSing it's time to go back home, probably at least 2-3AM at this point. We were living in the barracks at the time so we have to go through the checkpoints. With a shot to shit rabbit on the front bumper. We pull up slowly and the young lookin guy taking the ID cards is standing there with his jaw dropped open. He starts stammering "Is that a... a... a... is that a..." then with impeccable timing that I'm convinced can only be learned on a country farm, the senior guard comes out, lit cigar hanging out of his mouth and says "Wutsamatter boy? Y'aint seen a dead rabbit bufor?" "Y'all tew kin go ahead, have a nice night"

The original plan was to skin it and leave the guts for one of my NCOs who was on CQ that night but Mr Floppy ended up spending about a week still strapped to that bumper until someone stole it. And that is the story of Mr Floppy. There was also Chippys Jr and Sr. Sr was road kill. Jr can be found in the hunting pics thread.

Disclaimer: Yes, I know just about everything in this story is completely illegal and irresponsible, hindsight and all that. Regardless if ya didn't do some dumb shit every once in a while you wouldn't have any good stories and you'd just be boring.

I broke my little brother's arm and skull.. (he is still alive, thankfully)

Had sex on a teacher's desk in highschool...

Been in a mosh pit on concrete barefooted (still have bruises, it was 5 months ago)

Composed my own song on the violin that illustrated the different stages of being stoned through music.. :rasta:

Rode my horse in a parade through the city..

Confronted a crack dealer with a loaded gun in hand at his house unarmed.. (long story..)

Urinated in the middle of a mall, in the middle of the day..

Cleaned a horses sheath (yeah, you don't want to know.)

I am currently immune to rabies after being attacked by 7 dogs when walking home from a college party; and subsequently enduring the horrible rabies treatment. I consider it a superpower. And I still like dogs. :)

I had no choice but to climb out of my 1st trucks driver-side window after putting it on it's side while mudding...

Hmmm, I know there is more...

Got into a brawl with an HIV positive, Hepatitis-C positive, bipolar schizophrenic ex-con last week.

Broke in the tailgate and backseat of the Tacoma in the same week with different women.

Had sex on a firetruck. (In the hosebed...straight up Backdraft style!)
