:anonymous: I had to do something kinda not really-ish related to that.

My buddies dads farm, coyotes killed some cats inside a barn they rarely go in, for weeks it went unnoticed, no one could go in but me cause of the smell, I just walked in, scooped em up with a shovel, walked out.

What is it you do for a living???

That was when I was in EMS. In a city called Fort Gay... It's out in the middle of freakin' no where of West Virginia. MANY of our calls looked like where they filmed deliverance.... It was pretty damn interesting to say the least...

I got hired and was told I worked that day.. we were able to stay at home and just respond to the station from there (freakin' awesome).. yea.. got a call after it snowed about 3".. I jumped in the ambulance and looked at all the switches like WTF?? Had to learn all that and learn to drive it in the snow.. THEN had to go down a "holler" to get to this house... wow talk about a stressful situation!!!
And yes they hired me as an "ambulance driver". So someone who knew how to cut people out of cars and put out fires.. had to now help an EMT do crap. Then they paid for me to become an EMT.. then I went to medic class.. then I said screw this i'm ouutttt lol

When I was a kid we lived across the river from Fort Gay in Louisa, KY. Never could figure why someone would name a town that... Never seen a 3 way stop on that bridge in between the two towns either. That whole area is kind of screwed up.

lol yea I moved to Louisa and was on the Louisa fire department. Best damn fire department i've ever seen though! Well non paid... I miss that place :(
I actually lived right across the street from station 1 and responded from there. I got to put strobes and red lights on my mustang.. hah.. I was one of "those" but at least I only used them in real emergancies. I actually got in trouble one day - someone called in stating I took my mustang sideways in the road with the lights on. The mayor asked about it.. I said well it was a 4 year old that stopped breathing.. and I went sideways in the empty parkinglot - was driving normal when I got to the road. :D He said "4 year old? yea screw that old hag - hun you get to that ambulance and quickly as you can ok? I know you can drive that thing".. that's right. hah
I honestly didn't mean to take it sideways.. probably hit some water or there was a cold spot in the pavement.. that damn car broke loose if the wind changed direction. I was just use to it.

Saw a dead guy with a bullet hole in his head at the age of 13. When we first moved to where I live now, my dad was showing us the town. Someone had killed this guy and we drove by not too long after the cops had gotten there.

Hey, futuretaco/OZ/BrokenTusk/etc, what does the red rose profile pic that you all have mean?

To keep in line with this thread:
I've asked particular TW members what their change of profile pic means.

Hahah no no! I had two of my asshole friends with me that slipped one of those white sensor strips into my coat pocket somehow. I set off the alarm like 3 times and he told me to come to the counter and take my jacket off and empty pockets. He even patted me down, i was pissed haha
