Well... my wife is mad at me again so I'm sort of in the dog house for probably a few days. Just minor stuff as usual. But anyway, I was just curious about how often some of you guys get in hot water with the Wife? I swear for me its probably like every 2-3 months. I suppose that's not too bad. But I'm curious to see the general average just the same.

I am 26 and my girl of 3+ yrs and I hardly ever argue. Unlike my daughters mother and I used to. I was always in trouble back then. However that ended badly and now I am different towards women.... not bad but no wheres near as nice and giving as I used to be. Now its more of this is my home, end of story. But like I said we have very minor dissagreements and work them out quite well might I add.

We both learned a long time ago that doing the "dog house" routine won't get us anywhere. People do and say stupid things sometimes so we just deal with it at the moment and move past it. Much easier than carrying a grudge for a week or two.

Well... with me I just dislike arguing. That probably gets me into more trouble because I figure most problems along these lines will blow away after a few days by themselves. She gets mad, I generally don't argue back.I pray she will get over it quickly. That's not always true...

My Wife and I are both kinda stubborn. And combined with my penchant to use/break/burn, or destroy things, I prefer to call the "Dog House" my "Vaccation Home", or "Office"......And Im there often....about 3 to 5 times a week. It keeps the "Fire" alive in the relation ship. :)

Hey, a Doghouse Mods thread maybe? :D

I get sent there sometimes, but it's never my fault.

"I'm sorry I hurt your feelings" seems to help, A LOT!

That said, it just doesn't matter sometimes, and you get the week to yourself!:D

Not a bad idea. Anyhow, to sum it up, I HATE drama. Never have liked it. To be honest I'm sort of hiding out at work because I don't want to deal with anymore of it. Work is stressful enough.:D

I tend to bottle things up and, well, sometimes the bottle overflows. That's when I get into trouble. It's not really a doghouse kinda thing though....
