I scratched my name on mine when I took it for the free oil change, I'm sure the mechanics got a laugh out of it, but I had a new filter.

I finally got to watch that video. That's infuriating. I have been going to JiffyLube for years. Now I've got my doubts. Hopefully that's just a single bad district manager. I got the free oil changes from the dealer on the Tacoma, but I think I'll be marking my oil filter just in case.

I'm gonna start putting "Change me" on all the parts that ever need to be replaced or the mechanic says he is going to replace.

haha. I love your idea of Kharma!

I want a couple of those cameras. I get free oil changes from the dealer but I bring in my own oil (buy Mobil1 at Walmart for $22, but if I bought it from the dealer it would cost $50) I want to make sure they use the oil I bring in; I have no faith in people anymore.

Driving for over thirty years and changing the oil in all my vehicles myself except for less than 1/2 dozen times, I remember the first time I had someone change the oil in my truck. The a-holes cross-threaded my drain plug and it leaked ever since then!
