So this thread will go like TOTM contests...

Nominate your 3 top choices for where you think the National TW Meet should be held. With each location, if you are the first to suggest it, list the attractions, trails, accommodations...etc. that make you think it is a worthy choice... or just second previously mentioned locations (and add details that others may have forgotten), don't just list a random city if you can't list good things to do there.

After about a month (mods can decide) this poll will close and a moderator will tally the votes and list the top 3 locations nominated.

Then a final poll will be set up for another month (approx.) where everyone can vote between the 3 most popular locations.

    Let the nominations BEGIN!!!!!

Colorado springs there are plenty of Hotels there for the non campers. There are also great sites for the guys that dont want to wheel like Garden of the gods and Pikes peak cool bars. For the wheelers there are some great spots to wheel and camp. I havent been there in acouple of years but it a real good spot. Maybe someone from CO springs can help out. Its also about middle of the states so its not to far for everyone.

    ok guys...lets think about this...

everyone has just thrown in a bunch of states

    states are fucking big

lets think a LITTLE more in detail

and then...like the OP requested...if you list a place...throw some ideas as to why it would be good...

    not necessarily

if youve visited a place before or heard about a place before...its fair game

someone initially mentioned somewhere in south dakota...while a bit far for most people...he listed a ton of things for those that dont want to wheel to do...along with various other reasons why sd would be a good choice

This is a 310 acre park open to all motorized and non-motorized vehicles. It is open during daylight hours only and has a wide variety of activities for all levels of rigs. Everything from scenic trails and hill climbs to mud holes and rocks that they recommend trucks with minimum of 33s and 1 locker go on.

It is right next to some state parks and tuttle creek lake so there should be plenty of hiking, camping, swimming...etc activities.

It is also only 22 miles from Manhattan, KS, home of Kansas State University so its a pretty big town with a nightlife, restaurants, hotels...etc.

There are plenty of cool videos on youtube of trucks playing there... just search "tuttle creek ORV"
some pretty intense ones too - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ39cV3vLr0&feature=related

Randolph is about 19 hours West of Baltimore, MD and about 25 hours East of San Francisco, CA so its fairly central.
