How much Weight can it carry?

My senior design project in College was working toward creating a UAV that would fly itself to specified waypoints with no interaction from humans.

That was a short nap, but I'm wide awake.

    Mornin' Chad, Adam.

Amazing what a difference that really makes after a period of negative temps.

    Pretty cool...

depends on which one really... My quad can carry about 5 pounds max, but endurance goes way down after about 1.5 pounds... The hex is untested for payload capacity, but has a takeoff weight of 9.2 pounds and endurance of around 14 minutes without payload.

The fixed wing I've flown recently can carry about 10 pounds of payload for 8-9 hours... Max takeoff is 41 pounds.

They're getting more and more autonomous... they hobby grade ones still require lots of intervention while the more advanced "MIL-SPEC" ones I fly require very little interaction (just to change waypoints, altitude, speed if required).

There's not much "flying" them these days, one simply operates the camera and the aircraft will follow the payload footprint.

Delaware is an island of hope along the "tax you to death" central east coast. My Chief retired in NJ; had to downsize to be able to fully retire (from second career) after the assessed tax value of his home went from $210K in 2000 up to $450K 7 or 8 years later. f'n criminal. And it was a brand new home in 2000. Said he'd move to DE if the kids and grandkids weren't in NJ.

Resume is due by tonight. Pre-interview is tomorrow night where I show you around the workplace without any one else here. Formal interview TBD.

Jersey gets a bad rap, but by me we have unpopulated areas and farmland all around. Nothing like AK or MT, but for the most densely populated state its amazing what room you can find for yourself if you look.

Also if you like history we beat the crap out of most other states - this year we turn 350 years old http://officialnj350.com/what-is-nj350/

This country was also founded 10 miles from my current location

Yea yea.... Ill take NJ over TX any day.

anytime you want baby. I'm tired of making decisions for women. time to find me a dominating woman I can be subservient to.

oh and FTFY on the second part
