    yeah, but the part that makes it different is that if you are caught off base doing it you can get your on base privileges revoked...not just on base.

    I am Comm for life. My latest job is a Manager of Telecommunications.

    In the Army I was a telephone technician.

    Yes even in Vietnam there were phones. I was stationed in Danang back in 70-71. We had a Stromberg Carlson XY stepper office. The ICORE Hqtrs has a 1A2 key system. I was the only tech that knew how to fix the system. LOL Made for some interesting moments.
