    Went twice when i was in high school. It's f'ing huge!! If you like airplanes, then this is the event for you. We camped there for a few days during the airshow, but didn't stay the whole time. If you plan on seeing what there is to see, bring a couple comfortable pairs of shoes cause there's lots of walking. Sorry, I didn't have too much to do with the logistical details, so I can't shed much light on that part.

    Next year it lasts for a week. I only spent maybe 3 or 4 days there. I'd check out the schedule and make sure you get to see the things you want. I missed seeing the B2 bomber by one day. :( It's a hella good time if you're into aeronautics.

    Oh yeah. My Dad is a Pilot, and we have some frieds that fly. We have been to the Reno air races in the past, and had fun, but we were talking about flying in to see the Oshkosh thing. :) We'll see.

    That would be awesome!! Don't know, but you might have to fly in a day or two before it starts. I took some flying lessons in high school for a while. That's how I ended up going. Solo'd but never got certified. It was great fun, kind of wish I stuck with it...just don't have the time or $$ to pick it back up now.

    Flying is fun! I never had a desier to learn, but we had a Cessna 172 and later (when I was in High school) we got an Beechcraft A36tc. Lots of maintinance, and cost of ownership, but fun. :)
