At each of the schools to which you apply there should be a place to submit your test scores, etc. and have potential scholarships emailed to you. Each one will require something different (essays, references, etc), but if you need the money, apply for ALL of them. I don't know of any good 'universal' scholarships.

The best thing I had in college was a fellowship my grad-school year. Free tuition & books, plus a big honkin' stipend. It pays to keep your grades up and STUDY for standardized tests.

for starters, you can start by filling out a FAFSA form (prefer if you complete by February). Your main resources should be a school counselor. Speak with them about where you will be going to school, in-state or out-of-state. Then they should be able to direct to assist you with looking for scholarships.

BTW where do you plan on going to school?

i am not sure what ones are out there but they have scholarships for just about everything... theres a few places where you can fill out something and get x$'s for having a certain heritage, speaking a certain language, being born at a certain time, all kinds of crazy little stuff. just google scholarships and see what you come up with. theres a ton of things out there that you can get a few bucks for.

    good luck!
