I just saw a charger commercial that I need help interpreting. The camera shifts from the driver's face to the course, and it looks like a tear falls down that guy's face! Is he supposed to be all mushy because of the performance of the car?

Here's my other question: who is that commercial meant to appeal to? Women? Do man tears over a car appeal to men? Now we are talikng about a dodge, not a taco. :D

Maybe he just found out that his new Dodge is going to be worth about $1100 in six months?

the stream of hte tear was in the shape of the road he was driving. so i guess the sheer fun of the road and the car is making him cry and for some reason the tear makes the shape of the road. i dunno, i thought it was stupid too when i saw it. plus they talk about how great it is and that it "starts" at like 20k or something. the high end model of that car might be ok, but the 20k version is gonna suck worse than anything else on the road

I'm guessing it was in the shape of the road because the commercial was trying to say something about the handling, I.E it's so good that the car can pull so many G's in a turn that it will move your tears.

But then you realize it's a Mopar and doesn't handle for shit.

Im not defending the commercial but you guys have no idea what you are talking about. The R/T and SRT have superb handling. I find it hilarious that of all people the tocoma drivers are throwing stones. I dont know of any Mopar vehicles that were bought back by the OEM due to frames rusting completely through. Nor is Chrysler under investigation for destroying rollover data. Good luck with your death traps. Thanks for supporting the Japanese economy.

Wow you actually took the time to set up an account on a Toyota Forum just so you can try to defend your oh so proud Mopar. Now I got nothing against Dodge but I do got something against you for being a toolbag. I know I dont search other forums looking for people bagging on Tacomas. Get a Life and stick to your own kind.

Yeah, I was commenting on the sappy commercial. I have been driving toy trucks for 25 years. My first truck did have some rust after ten years, mostly around the dings that I didn't fix, but still looked HOT at 14 with 70K miles on it when I sold it for my next toyo, that just started looking a little worn at 15 with 70.5K on it, but I still had people begging me to sell it up to the day I traded it in for my new taco that I expect will be on the road in at least 15 years.

Never had a roll over.

I think you're a tool too, for joining a Tacoma forum just to diss toyos and tacos.
