41 in 10 days dammit! First Toyota was 25 years ago.

 

Just turned 38, and now I am feeling old.....

Just turned 43.
Still act like I am in my 20s (according to my wife)

First Tacoma but have had a
1985 4Runner,
1977 FJ40 (still have),
1992 FJ80 (sold),
1982 FJ60 (still have)
and a 2007 FJ Cruiser (still have)

 

32 and still feel much younger although the waistline may show otherwise...

 

its not the years its the miles! 42 in this life

 

Yep Sunrunner and I are the oldest so far, which doesn't mean a thing, other than we have a few more miles and a few cars/trucks under our belts.

As far as other vehicles goes, when I was young I had a dress Harley, a 57 Buick, a 63, ex-state police cruiser with 390 and manual trans , a 68 SS Camaro, 396, at 396 Chevelle , a 65 Vette Conv, a Honda Civic and a Subaru.

 

I was 47 last September.

Interesting how you went from all those V8s to a 4cyl Civic and a 4cyl boxer Subaru...

Just needed that extra reliability, eh?

 

007 Tacoma, actually the Subaru and Civic were when I was married in the late 70's, as that was suitable for the times. Then eventually got a couple of nice Caprice Classics as tow vehicles and my last car was a nice 96 Monte Carlo, front wheel drive that had low miles and turned out to be a car with a high repair rate, unfortunately and was terrible in the snow, which is why I dumped it and finally got a truck, my nifty 06 Taco.
You know you bought the wrong vehicle when you find out that GM(or any auto maker) only keeps an engine for 3yrs and then dumps it.

bigb3187, welcome I hope you will comsider some of the things you read on this forum, about taco maintence, and take them to heart. Being a lot older than you, I never had anyone teach me the basics of keeping any vehicle together. I wished that I had the internet back in the early 60's or at least someone who would tell you about cars/trucks ..... I will get off the proverbial soap box and welcome to the TW.
