When she doesn't beat me to it, I make dinner for my lovely wife and wash her truck. (She's now 9 months pregnant! She's also from Orange County)

So Sandie, did you ever say how old you are?

My mistake... I new that they were next to each other, didn't realize they were different counties...
I grew up in Idaho where the population of the entire state is probably the same as your county...

no worries ;) there just seems to be a somewhat negative idea of people who live in the OC lately (specifically women!) I BLAME LAGUNA BEACH! ;)

(incidentally, i'm a VERY sarcastic person...i hope no one takes me too seriously around here!)

i've been to a couple different parts of idaho, what part are you from?

    true...not enough gentlemen out there!

Well, I haven't lived in California... so I'm not aware of the negative idea people have of OC.

I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho (South Eastern Idaho). I love it back there... 1-2 hour drive to mountains in every direction! 1 hours drive from Grand Teton Ski resort!!! Great Powder! (i love snowboarding) 25 minute drive from some great rock climbing! 1 hour drive to the Grand Tetons for backpacking or rock climbing! 15 minute drive from some fun sand dunes! 3 hours to City of the Rocks, a rock climbers paradise!
It is a giant play gound back there! My brother lives in Boise, Idaho and I've spent some time in Northern Idaho... It is a beautiful State! It has desserets in the south and forests in the North with plenty of mountains inbetween.

From my understanding there are quite a few in CA.

    From what I've heard.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. :p

'Few' may have been a poor choice of words, but from my experience less then half the guys out there continuely try to treat girls with respect.
Yes they go unnoticed by most and they may appear to finish last, but they generally live a longer and more joyful life with less regrets.

47 this summer. 2nd Toyota, former owner of VW, Chevy (x2), Jeep, Nissan, Chrysler, and Lexus. Current owner of Chrysler 300 and HD FLHTCUI. I guess I just wear them out.

Father always told me to treat women with respect. Hasn't failed me yet.

i have to say, i find they way proteinbar makes his comments pretty offensive...but the point i think he's trying to make is somewhat true.

however, sak3358 hit it on the nose...respect.

women don't like pushovers...thats true...but i don't think they like jerks either...if you treat women (and people in general) with respect, and expect respect in return, it all usually turns out good in the end.

and i'm still not saying my age :D

That works great if you want to live a shallow meaningless life moving from one bed to another (which I‘ll admit, I too have done in my youth). If you want the right kind of woman though you have to treat them with respect and kindness but don't totally spoil them or do everything they want. You still have to be yourself, not their slave, and thats what they‘ll love you for.

    YAY TRDeity!
    :D

i was just going to post something similar. i guess it all depends on the type of woman you want to be with. if you want to be with someone that likes jerks and likes being disrespected, have at it.
