Not sure if you can Google this or not, it's one I remember from long ago:

A wealthy man's will instructed his entire estate be given to only one of his two sons based upon the outcome of a race. He gave each an identical car and said they must race from Dallas to Chicago but here's the catch - whichever son's car came in second would win the fortune.

At the end of the first day they had only driven 50 miles and stopped at a motel to sleep for the night. While signing in at the motel they told the clerk about their problem and he gave them a suggestion. The next morning the sons drove away as quickly as possible, each determined to reach Chicago first.

What did the clerk recommend they do?

You must let an egg fall for 100 feet and prevent it from breaking. You cannot slow its descent nor provide any cushioning for the landing. How can this be done?

water might work, although water pressure might do it in.

Just drop it 105'... it won't break for the first 100'

A baseball pitcher faced 27 batters in a single game. He allowed no hits and struck out each of them but his team lost 2-0. How?

    Logic problem...

"A man was in a small town for the day, and needed a haircut. He noticed that there were only two barbers in town. Looking at their shops, he saw that the first one was very neat and the barber was clean shaven with a good haircut. The other shop was a mess, and the barber there needed a shave and had a bad haircut. Why did the man choose to go to the unkempt barber?"

Because the unkempt barber cut the neat-looking barber's hair.

Nope, after 27 outs the game is over so there wouldn't a closer.

If each team finished the 9th w/27 outs, it would go to extra innings. Therefore, wouldn't a closer have a chance to come in and lose the game by allowing 2 runs in the 10th, et seq. (i.e., the starter could still throw 27 Ks, and his team could lose 2-0)...no?

Yep, I'll have to clean that one up to state the game ended with his 27th out. Oh well... my thought was the runs were scored at the beginning of the game, against a different pitcher, before Mr Perfect came onto the mound.
