To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:

888-382-1222

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your
time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the
cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a
different phone number. It takes about 20 seconds

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.

It's a good idea to get on the DNC however no cell numbers are being released to telemarketers. The number listed is legitimate so no worries on that.

hopefully,next, they will stop telemarketers from doing text messages. i know my wife gets plenty of those!!

don't have to call them, you can do it online !!
and remember there is a wait period think it is 30 to 60 days

and as usual
the politicians are exempt ( ask me about the 5 calls from nit romney,3 from clinton, and several others i got yesterday !
and they will let it ring 20 times before they give up !
and also "customer surveys" are exempt from the list ;-D
i still get about 3 a day and i am still on the no not call list
and if you challenge the telemarketer about checking the list boy do they get unpleasant, or was that me slamming down the phone after screaming F$%K you

the old way you had to re-register after 5 years as they dropped you out then

NOW they keep you on and no need to re-register

I registered back when this first came out....and that was a long time ago.

So - although I didn't have to re-register, I did it anyway to make sure I'm still there!! Added both cell phone numbers also.

I hate telemarketer calls!
