hey all.. just grew a wild hair and want to plan to take a little road trip this summer while i am out of college. I am going out west (will be driving all the way out there since i cant rent a car ... not 21 yet..)ive been to yellowstone and glacier... but other than that.. no where out that way. i do want to go to vegas though and spend a night there. i know i cant gamble or anything (can i even play the slots?) but im sure theres more there than just gambling. i want to hit hoover dam and the grand canyon. where else should i go? btw.. im planing about 3.5 weeks. i just need to get out and live a little! being stuck at home working while im this young all summer sux!

    thanks for the input guys/gals

Must go to Santa Monica peir and 3rd street province, lots of cool thinge to do and the beach is a minute away and the weather is the best. Another good place is pismo beach where you can hit the dunes and a great place to eat there is a small resturant called SPLASH. Those are my favorite places to visit.

If you make it up north you should go through Lake Tahoe you could even check out the start of the Rubicon trail.

I'd make a point of hitting up Moab and Arches National Park. That whole area looks amazing to me. Thats one of the places I wanna hit up when I do a road trip.

Bring your MTB if you come to Vegas. We can hit some single track or I can show you some downhill if that's your thing.

EDIT: I just saw you mentioned in the summer. Nevermind. Unless you like riding at night, that's when we ride during the summer months.
